After 2 years at Phillip Island, 2019 saw our annual camp heading north to the sensational YMCA at Lake Dewar. We were joined by more than 60 dads and kids over the weekend as we enjoyed the amazing facilities on offer.

Over the 2 days we found so much to keep everyone entertained with families enjoying canoeing, stand-up paddle-boarding, bushwalking, campfire cooking, hut building, orienteering, swimming, volleyball and a fun movie night.

It was also a great chance for the dads to catch up with each other after hours over a few beers and even a few tunes thanks to some very talented guitar work from two such dads.

We were able to offer a choice of accommodation this year with some choosing the very comfortable dormitory and private rooms while many choose to pitch the tentative the kids the true camping experience.

The Team at Lake Dewar YMCA were the perfect hosts and not only ensured our comfort and safety, but also provided some superb and healthy meals to keep kids and Das well feuled for the days activities.

The committee would like to pass on a very big thank you to all those who came along that made the weekend such a huge success. We hope to see you at our next camp at a date to be advised.
